The Brosius name has been synonymous with Industrial cutting tools for over 60 years. In the 1950’s manufacturing was at an all-time high in the United States. During this time one of the largest cutting tool manufacturers in the north east made its start with a small manufacturing plant in the heart of North Tonawanda, NY.
Donald Brosius made his start at the manufacturing plant on Schenck and then Erie Ave, with his sons to follow. In the early 1980’s Todd Brosius Sr. was the first to branch off on his own starting a tool grinding business only a few blocks away from the plant, focusing on manufacturing and re-sharpening industrial cutting tools.
For over 20 years Todd Brosius Sr. made a name for himself manufacturing some of the highest quality cutting tools for many of the area’s largest corporations in the Aerospace, Automotive, Military and Defense, and Marine Industries. In 2004 Ameri- Cut Tool Grinding was established with the addition of Todd Sr.’s oldest son Todd Jr. Sitting in his father’s shop on Walck Rd. in North Tonawanda, from the time he was 8 years old, Todd Jr. was destined to follow in his father’s footsteps. After college in 2004 Junior and Senior combined their talents to form Ameri-Cut Tool Grinding. As of January 2016 Todd Jr. acquired the well-known Superior Tool Company Inc., merging with Ameri-Cut Tool Grinding Inc. to form the new Superior Tool Company. Todd Jr. & Sr. are the perfect fit to take over and maintain the reputation of Superior Tool’s high end carbide tip cutting tools. Todd Sr. utilizing his expertise in manufacturing, over sees all the shop machining. He is hands on with all the tooling that passes through Superior Tool Company’s doors. Insuring that each tool comes out with the precision to put the Superior Tool Company stamp on.
Complimenting his father, using his background in manufacturing and business, Todd Jr. runs Superior Tool Company’s business operations and sales department. Continuing a commitment to excellence and growing the business to secure a strong future for generations to come.
